§ 166.01. Purpose.

(A)

It shall be the purpose of this chapter to do the following:

(1)

Establish uniform standards for the design of subdivisions and the preparation of plats;

(2)

Bring together in coordinated and convenient form all official requirements pertaining to the processing of plats;

(3)

Facilitate coordination of plats with the zoning, highway and public improvement plans of the town; and

(4)

Assure consistency and equitable treatment for engineers, surveyors and subdividers in the review of their plats.
